We all understand how essential time is, especially when our lives become hectic. When it comes to saving hours or minutes, expert advice is priceless.

After thousands of cleanings since 2000, we’ve realized how difficult and time-consuming cleaning bathrooms and kitchens can be. So we’re sharing our finest cleaning tips to help speed up those unavoidable cleaning duties that we all have to undertake in between hiring a professional cleaner.

All of these pointers are direct from the cleaning experts at Royal Monarch Laundry.

Here are cleaning methods and suggestions to help you clean the most difficult parts of your home, the kitchen, and the bathroom!

Kitchen Cleaning Formulas that do not Require Sorcery.

If only cleaning up was as much fun as making a mess and cooking. Since we can’t make cleaning fun, these cleaning ideas will make it 1,000 times simpler to get the kitchen back in shape.

Floors, walls, and baseboards.

Grease is a major issue when cleaning kitchen surfaces. To break up grease and other food build-ups, you’ll need a spray bottle and a towel.

Next, combine the following ingredients in a spray bottle:

  • Warm water. Make sure the water isn’t too hot to burn you or melt the bottle. Consider lukewarm water.
  • Dish soap.
  • Alcohol.
  • A little spoon of laundry soap.

A laundry detergent works by breaking down food particles.

Alcohol disinfects and causes the mixture to dry faster, resulting in less streaking.

Dish soap dissolves grease and filth.

Simply apply the mixture to the affected region. Allow to set for 30-60 seconds. Then, wipe clean. Repeat until the desired outcome is obtained.

Coffee stains.

We’ve all had to deal with the dreaded coffee stain in the kitchen. When a coffee stain forms, the first thing to do is grab another cup of coffee since you’ll need it. Then go get some toothpaste. It doesn’t generally go with coffee, but believe us on this one!

  • Dab a small amount of toothpaste on a dry towel or a soft, clean toothbrush.
  • Scrub the damaged area gently, taking care not to scratch the material.
  • It’s fantastic for restoring the color of discolored surfaces.

NOTE: When cleaning surfaces that sheen easily, use caution when applying toothpaste. Some toothpaste may have a bleaching impact on some surfaces.

Microwave stains.

Everyone who uses the microwave knows it gets dirty! Good news! The Royal Monarch has a method for cleaning hard-to-reach splatters and stains in the microwave.

  • Fill a cup halfway with water and top with a slice of lemon.
  • Bring the water and lemon to a boil. This usually takes one or two minutes, but it depends on how much water is used.
  • Close the microwave door and let the steam loosen the mess for 10 minutes.
  • Open the door and clean the interior.
  • The combination of water and lemon acid works well in the microwave to release gunk and allow it to be easily wiped away.

Bathroom Insight and Cleaning Hacks

For many of us, the bathroom is the ideal private spot. It’s time to disconnect from the rest of the world, check social media, read the news, or hide from the kids. We’ve all been there!

While our bathrooms are our private porcelain palaces, they get dirtier faster than any other room in the house. Not to mention the time and work it takes to clean them. Don’t worry. When it comes to swiftly sprucing up the bathroom between professional home cleanings, we’ve got you covered.

Hard water calcium streaks on shower glass doors.

Showers, as much as we would like them to, do not wash, and with hard water, they can become murky rapidly. To see through the glass shower door, use any phosphoric acid cleaner.

All you need is the following:

  • Piece of Microfiber
  • Dish scrubber.

Pro-tip:

A cup of white vinegar should be heated. Do not transfer the boiling vinegar while it is still hot! Allow it to cool down. Before it cools, put it in a dish or spray bottle.

Soak some paper towels in hot vinegar and attach them to the glass door like giant stickers. Allow them to set for 20 – 30 minutes to allow the vinegar to break down the calcium.

Using a damp cloth or sponge, carefully wipe clean the shower door. Scrub gently to prevent scratching the glass. Remove the baking soda and vinegar fromhe shower door with distilled water.

Finally, dry the glass door with a microfiber towel.

Toilet Rings

Nobody appreciates a dirty toilet, especially someone else’s! Do not expose your home business to filthy porcelain.

When cleaning a toilet, use a cleaner containing hydrochloric acid:

  • A toilet bowl cleanser.
  • Misty.
  • Betco’s Pull (works best for all bathrooms that need a little more love).

How it works:

Pour a bucket of water into the toilet bowl to cause the water to drain to the bottom.

Put your preferred cleaners in the top bowl where the water drains.

The chemical should dissolve evenly in the dish.

Close the lid and let it in the toilet for around 10-15 minutes (depending on intensity). Then flush and scrub.

Use a pumice stone to remove stubborn pieces. Wet the stones and gently scrub around the bowl. Flush after using a toilet scrubber.

Never use a pumice stone on toilets that appear to need reglazing. If done correctly, it may make reglazing easier.
